It’s the boomerang design trend that is back with a vengeance! Revamped Rattan & Wicker furniture has fresh new looks, new finishes, and is getting dressed in new fabrics for modern or boho styles. You’ve seen it in the pages of Coastal Living and brands like Anthropologie. We’ve always loved it here on the coast. For the fabric, we wanted a fun eye-catching pattern. We decided on the Palm Leaf design which can be found on everything from wallpaper, to plates, to bathing suits and bags. I’ve always loved this pattern! It was first made popular by the Queen of Hollywood Regency Interior Design Mrs. Dorothy Draper. Come in today and let’s get started on your look!
One thing that’s always true about wicker and rattan furniture is its beautiful appearance from all angles. I love to use rattan chairs with intricate backs when decorating large open concept rooms on the Outer Banks. They really add texture, design, and color when mixing with fully upholstered sofas or sectionals.

When shopping for rattan & wicker furniture, be sure to specify where you are planning on placing your furniture. Not all frames and fabrics are suited for outdoor use.
